Job summary

ExecuSource is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive Lean manufacturing initiatives in Centerville, IA on-site. You will lead hands-on Kaizen events, coach teams on Lean tools, and support 3P processes and production pilots to deliver measurable improvements.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and sustaining CI gains across the operation with minimal travel and opportunities to impact culture and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Operational Excellence experience.
• Proven experience leading Kaizen events, not just participating.
• Experience supporting new product introductions, 3P processes, or production pilots.
• Strong understanding of Lean principles and tools (5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, VSM).
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent hands-on experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate hands-on Kaizen events with cross-functional teams.
• Coach employees and leaders on Lean tools and problem solving.
• Support new product introductions, 3P processes, production pilots, or similar initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve processes.
• Lead multiple CI projects and initiatives simultaneously.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality.
• Train and coach teams on Lean fundamentals (5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, VSM).
• Help develop and strengthen the organization's Lean/CI culture.
• Track results and ensure changes are sustainable.
• Share best practices across facilities.
