Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Business Excellence Engineer Co-Op in Gurabo, PR, for the Aug–Dec 2026 period. The role focuses on driving lean improvements, creating value streams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) is required.

Eligible students must be enrolled, pursuing related bachelor’s degrees, and maintain a 3.0+ GPA. CPT/OPT sponsorship is generally not provided for long-term employment beyond internship.

Qualifications

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year is required.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, technology, or related fields.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant improvements in assigned areas using Lean and Six Sigma practices.
• Develop current and future state value stream maps (VSM) for areas of responsibility.
• Support kaizen events, 6S, dashboards and standard work to improve processes.
