Job summary

Redstone Federal Credit Union in Indio, California is seeking a full-time Ice Packaging Associate to stack and bag ice on pallets during 12-hour shifts. You will handle 5lb–40lb bags, ensuring loads are neat and square, and you will monitor quality for proper tying and absence of debris.

You will keep work areas clean, follow safety rules, and report hazards. No supervisory responsibilities are involved, and adherence to ethical standards is expected as part of daily work routines.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED with the ability to count numbers, use of basic math and complete simple paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Stack a variety of products, ranging from 5lb to 40lb bags onto standard pallets, must be done neat and square.
• Help monitor product quality including; bags not properly tied, foreign objects, yellow ice and any deviation from standards.
• Learn to start and stop the line when needed.
• Keep the area safe and report potential hazards to supervisor.
• Clean immediate work area and entire facility according to the Master Cleaning Schedule.
