Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or related field.
Available to work 30-40 hours per week May–August.
Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Engineering Team to optimize manufacturing methods.
Gain exposure to LEAN, ergonomics, time studies, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
Analyze engineering design documents and change orders for manufacturability.
Partner with EH&S to support environmental and safety initiatives.
Assist in evaluating equipment, tooling, materials, and automation vs. manual decisions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement or revise processes.
Conduct time studies and document workflows.
Utilize CAD/CAM tools for design-related tasks.
Take ownership of additional responsibilities as assigned.
Champion safety and quality by adhering to policies.
