Job summary

Brunswick Corporation in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a Performance Validation Engineer to develop, implement, and improve hot test equipment and processes that support Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity goals.

You will apply Lean tools, evaluate existing systems, lead sustainable improvements, and collaborate with internal and external customers and suppliers to solve issues and ensure production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of diverse manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with lean manufacturing tools and process improvement.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules, engineering specs, and process flows to understand hot testing methods.
• Provide troubleshooting support for issues causing downtime and lost output.
• Apply Lean manufacturing tools in CI projects related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Production.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Participate in Safety and Ergonomic activities to maintain a safe workplace.
• Support new product development by creating/updating hot test systems for validation.
• Draft equipment layouts to optimize efficiency using CAD software.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Compile and execute reports/audits to support ISO requirements.
• Develop equipment specifications and statements of work for production deployment.
