Job summary

Senior Flexonics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee the department’s operations and lead a team of area leads toward safety, quality, and delivery excellence. You will partner with the Operations Manager to drive workforce effectiveness and support lean initiatives across the site.

The role requires strong coaching, cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, and safety teams, and a proven track record in lean environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in operations supervision.
• Minimum 3 years in lean systems and supervisory roles.
• Associate degree preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the department’s operational team and area leads.
• Manage seating chart aligned with production plan.
• Coach and mentor area leads and govern the union workforce.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, safety teams via GEMBA walks and meetings.
• Lead weekly production meetings and communicate actions to support groups.
• Ensure 5S, safe work practices and standard work compliance.
• Lead Kaizen events and lean audits; report metrics.
