Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery, part of Oshkosh AeroTech, LLC, offers an Operations Intern role in Spartanburg, SC. You will assist production management, help implement lean manufacturing, and support ISO procedures while working cross-functionally with Quality and Manufacturing teams.

The internship may be summer or co-op, with relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Expected pay ranges from $18.00 to $37.00 per hour, reflecting experience and responsibilities.

Qualifications

Sophomore standing or higher pursuing a bachelor's degree in operations/manufacturing management, business, or a related field.
Graduation date December 2028 or later.
Willingness to travel or relocate to Spartanburg, SC; relocation assistance provided for those >50 miles from Spartanburg, SC.

Responsibilities

Assist in production management activities.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Promote growth of ISO procedures and standards.
Utilize value stream mapping to analyze and improve material flow and reduce waste.
Assist in ensuring quality and accuracy of customer order fulfillment.
Participate in quality audits and supplier quality/process control.
