Job summary

Watlow in Hannibal, Missouri, is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead plant production with Lean as the core strategy, driving value streams and business unit goals.

The role focuses on developing processes, managing budgets, ensuring safety and quality, mentoring teams to improve performance, and collaborating with maintenance and supply chain to sustain continuous improvement. You will report metrics to leadership and help shape the value stream strategy.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of Lean leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in continuing education.
• Project management and leadership training

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of assigned plant production teams to achieve value stream and business unit goals and objectives.
• Creates and fosters a leadership environment that is conducive to teamwork and demonstrates genuine concern for development.
• Ensures the development, implementation, and control of manufacturing processes, budgets, plans, and performance standards.
• Forecasts production and inventory requirements in support of the SOFP process.
• Ensures CI/Lean concepts and techniques are utilized throughout the manufacturing process.
• Coordinates purchasing and material control processes to ensure product availability and quality.
