Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced manufacturing/industrial engineer to improve quality and productivity in a high-volume, high-mix electro-mechanical assembly environment. You will conduct time studies, apply VSM, and lead line-balancing efforts using Yamazumi charts.

The role focuses on waste reduction, capacity planning, and implementing process improvements to reduce indirect labor costs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of manufacturing/industrial engineering experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Lean manufacturing, TQM, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, VSM, and related process-improvement methods.
• Experience improving quality, reducing cost, and increasing productivity in high-volume, high-mix environments.
• Line balancing studies using Yamazumi charts and time studies helpful.

Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks and current challenges to improve performance.
• Lead material and internal supply logistics study to reduce waste.
• Propose and implement process improvements to reduce indirect labor costs.
• Drive capacity, manpower, and cell utilization optimization.
