Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions is hiring a hands-on Continuous Improvement Technician in Southern Indiana to drive efficiency, quality, safety, and productivity through data-driven analysis and frontline engagement.

You will analyze operations data, support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and lead value-stream mapping and time studies while collaborating with production, maintenance, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge required.
• Data analysis and reporting using Excel and Power BI.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Three+ years in production or manufacturing with improvement project delivery.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or operations preferred.
• Experience with process design, validation, line balancing, and equipment capability; CAD or CMMS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Conduct process observations, time studies, and workflow analyses.
• Facilitate root-cause analysis, including 5 Whys and Fishbone.
• Assist with Kaizen events and improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions.
• Track and report key performance indicators.
• Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams.
• Train employees on processes and continuous-improvement tools.
