Job summary

DGS Office of External Affairs is seeking a manager to lead the Division of Water's continuous improvement and permitting modernization efforts. You will evaluate business processes, implement LEAN solutions, and develop performance-tracking tools to enhance regulatory performance and customer service.

The role involves supervising planning staff and contractors, training staff on CI methods, and supporting analytics development to ensure timely and sustainable operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent.
• 4+ years of continuous improvement work including process review and recommendations.
• 3+ years of data analysis, statistical modeling, and root cause analysis.
• 2+ years designing and defining scope of CI projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement and permitting modernization initiatives for regulatory performance and customer service.
• Oversee process improvement projects and develop performance tracking tools.

Key qualifications:

• Three years' experience conducting data analysis, statistical modeling, and root cause analysis
• Two years' experience designing and defining scope of continuous improvement projects
• Six months' experience in budget, grant, or contract administration
• Valid driver's license required as condition of hire
