Job summary

Shearer’s Foods is seeking a Continuous Improvement/T&Q Manager to lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives across the site. You will develop CI plans, coach Kaizen events, and ensure training and qualification programs are effective while embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

You will manage data systems, analyze OEE-related metrics, and partner with leadership to drive reliability and zero-loss goals in a 24/7 production environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing plant leadership experience in a consumer product facility.
• Experience with CI tools like Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and related methods.
• Experience with change management to improve training and qualification programs.
• Four-year degree in engineering, operations management, or equivalent.
• Knowledge in food science, engineering, or general business; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CI Master Plan across the site.
• Lead Kaizen activities to improve productivity and reduce losses.
• Implement health checks for CI and T&Q processes.
• Oversee data collection systems and train the team.
• Analyze metrics like OEE and drive reliability improvements.
• Support zero-loss objectives with function leaders.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive Lean/CI initiatives.
• Track progress and communicate CI results.
• Support capital projects related to CI and training.
