Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide installation of stairlifts both inside and outside of the home.
• Use mechanical and carpentry skills with strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Prefer 1 year of carpentry/construction experience with light electrical skills (ability to add or move outlets).
• Own a box truck, cargo van, full size pickup or full size SUV.
• Current or ability to obtain general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance or exemption, depending on state (we can assist).
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays Monday‑Friday; both in‑state and out‑of‑state.
• Must have all necessary tools for the job, including box wrenches, Allen wrenches, 12” miter saw, nut driver set and drill driver extension.

Compensation & Benefits

• This is a 1099 contractor position.
• Stairlift installation compensation averages around $250–$350 per job, requiring 2–4 hours; curved stairlifts average around $600 for 4–6 hours.
