Smithfield Foods is seeking a Production Lead to help run a safe, efficient meat production line. You will work with hand tools, knives and machinery, supporting the management team while training and developing line workers. Leads will support the management team by understanding the full operations of the line, as well as supporting training and development of production employees . These positions can be physically demanding and require good hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail. Production Leads must be able to work their scheduled shift and may be required to work overtime depending on production demands.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
