Job summary

Harvard College Fund is seeking an Assistant Director on the Harvard University Fundraising team. This frontline role reports to the Director of Development, Leadership Giving, and manages a large portfolio, qualifying prospects and securing four-, five-, and six-figure commitments for Harvard College Fund and other priorities.

You will collaborate with multiple AA&D teams, volunteers, and campus partners to drive leadership-level support at $5,000 annually or multi-year pledges, contributing to

Qualifications

• BA/BS required.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in development or related field.
• Travel roughly 35% of working days in specified territory/region.
• Attend meetings and campus activities in Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate a portfolio of 75+ qualified leadership prospects.
• Develop multi-step strategies to secure four-, five-, and six-figure gifts.
• Identify and qualify new prospects for leadership or major gifts.
• Meet revenue goals and upgrade donors while maintaining active regional presence.
