We have an exciting Systems Engineering Manager role open in our Global Security Sales Organization! We are searching for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded sales professional with a passion for delivering elite technology and services that protect our customers from the network to the endpoint to the Cloud. This position is ideal for someone with validated leadership skills and industry and technical expertise to advance their career in a highly regarded leadership role. We need an ambitious, self-starter capable of building executive relationships, developing and executing sales strategies that enhance Cisco's opportunities, and promoting the value proposition of Cisco's Security Architecture, Cloud Security, Zero Trust, and XDR solutions. The candidate should be able to articulate Cisco's product and business strategies and generate demand to facilitate deals.

Your Impact

As SEM, you will mentor and support account teams within your territory to develop solutions tailored to specific customer security needs. You will collaborate with technology experts to position Cisco's security solutions effectively against competitors.

  • Lead a talented Security Solutions Engineer (SE) team.
  • Plan technical direction, identify expertise to manage the team, and facilitate partnerships between cross-functional teams, partners, and customers.
  • Position Cisco's Security solutions portfolio to sales teams, partners, and customers.
  • Recruit, retain, mentor, and develop staff; manage performance, development, and training; and oversee salary planning.
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers to drive operational excellence within the security team.
  • Anticipate industry trends and demonstrate technical and business excellence to meet revenue goals.
  • Leverage your sales and technical leadership experience with innovative solutions and dedicated engineers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Cisco Security Solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of technical sales or pre-sales experience in networking technology, with at least 4 years in Security specialization (IDS/IPS, AV, Firewall, Malware Protection).
  • Consistent high sales performance.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity trends and new product solutions in the regional market.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience leading teams, operations, program management, and strategy development.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate strategic information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven leadership, collaboration, influencing, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and engage with senior management and executives.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • BS/BA in EE/CS or equivalent highly preferred.
