Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist (XR) to perform general radiographic exams and fluoroscopic imaging across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role emphasizes patient safety, ALARA, and precise documentation in PACS/RIS/EHR.

The successful candidate will have ARRT(R) certification, completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, and strong teamwork to support rural critical access hospital imaging needs. On-call coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Experience with PACS, RIS, and EHR is a plus.
• Strong communication with radiologists and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs general diagnostic radiographic examinations per orders.
• Provides intraoperative and procedural fluoroscopic imaging support as required.
• Operates, monitors, and maintains X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment in compliance with QA and safety standards.
• Prepares patients for imaging procedures, including verifying identity and explaining procedures.
• Documents procedures and image data in PACS, RIS, and EHR systems.
• Responds to urgent and emergent imaging requests and participates in on-call coverage.
• Collaborates with radiologists, providers, nurses, and staff to ensure efficient patient care.
