Job summary

RockBridge Search & Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major wastewater treatment plant and water infrastructure projects in the Raleigh, NC area. You will own planning, execution, and delivery while coordinating with clients, engineers, and field teams to maintain scope, schedule, quality, and safety.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in heavy civil or municipal construction, with proven leadership, clear communication, and the ability to steer complex

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager within heavy civil, water, wastewater, municipal, or industrial construction.
• Experience managing WWTP, WTP, pump stations, or other complex infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of budgets, scheduling, cost control, and project financial management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead WWTP and water infrastructure projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, change orders, and overall financial performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field leadership to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, and performance.
• Lead project meetings and serve as the primary client and stakeholder liaison.
