Job summary
A leading drone technology company located in California is seeking a Wireless Performance Lead to evaluate and optimize their wireless solutions. The successful candidate will manage network performance metrics and drive testing in various environments. Candidates should have a strong background in WLAN/3GPP protocols, wireless debugging skills, and experience with wireless test equipment. Qualifications
- Experience with Mesh, OFDMA and scheduled‑based network operation.
- Experience in test automation, including designing automated test scripts.
- Can work collaboratively with multiple teams alongside systems, SW and RF Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, optimize, and improve Skydio's wireless solutions.
- Lead the deployment and the OTA performance of the network.
- Develop, implement, and validate system‑level algorithms.
Skills
Understanding of WLAN/3GPP protocols
Strong background in wireless channels
Experience with wireless PHY and MAC level Firmware
Experience debugging skills
Ability to analyze and report results from automated tests
Tools
