Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Repair Engineer to drive repair procedures and tooling for wind turbine maintenance. The role emphasizes documentation 70% and testing 30%, with cross‑functional collaboration across Deployment, Platform Leaders, Field Engineering, and EHS.

You will manage project plans, validate procedures, and ensure safe, effective tooling installations while supporting global travel and hands‑on work when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel globally 10–20% of the time.
  • Ability to climb wind turbines and work at heights.
  • Proficient in English written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and validate repair procedures meeting customer and business requirements.
  • Lead engineering efforts in validation and beta period of tooling/process products.
  • Create and maintain project plans for repair initiatives.
  • Develop, test and validate repair procedures through models, prototyping and components.
  • Own the design of innovative repair solutions and ensure adherence to standards.
