Job summary

Home Helpers DuPage is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide support and companionship to clients in Downers Grove, IL. The role includes transporting clients to appointments, medication reminders, personal care, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.

No certifications are required, and CNAs, HHAs are encouraged to apply. We offer competitive wages, medical/dental/vision benefits, a Roth IRA, and paid training to advance.

Qualifications

• Experience in home health
• Car insurance and valid driver's license
• Eligible to work in the U.S. with I-9 documents

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and improve clients' quality of life
• Assist with daily tasks including transportation, medication reminders, personal care, light housekeeping, and incontinence support
• Provide mobility assistance and supervise exercises as needed
• Communicate care needs and updates with office staff and family members

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Build relationships and improve the quality of life of your clients
• Help clients enjoy life and perform their daily functions: transportation to errands or appointments, and daily tasks to help in the care of our clients. Medication reminders, and personal care, Light Housekeeping, assistance with incontinence, ADLs, Dementia to name a few.
• Be compassionate, and diligent and bring joy to your clients!
• Assist with mobility and physical exercises as needed
• Communicate effectively with office staff and family members about care needs and updates

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour | Based on experience
