Job summary

Texas A&M University Libraries are seeking an Associate Level Web Services Librarian to lead Springshare management and web portfolio enhancements on campus in College Station, TX. The role collaborates with Technology Services, Discovery Systems, and User Experience teams to improve digital services and dashboards.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Library Science or related field and 5 years of experience, with strong knowledge of Springshare products, CMS platforms, and web development

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Experience administering Springshare applications (e.g., LibGuides, LibCal, LibAnswers).
• Ability to ensure quality assurance for websites and applications, with familiarity using CMSs (Cascade, WordPress, SharePoint).
• Working knowledge of web development languages (HTML, CSS, PHP) and comfort using APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic assessment, enhancement, and management of the Libraries’ Springshare services.
• Oversee Springshare applications and library web platforms to ensure QA, accessibility, and strong systems support.
• Provide training, troubleshooting, and user support for library applications and web tools.
