Job summary

Knak Digital in Washington, DC seeks a Digital Designer to shape insights into concepts and interfaces. You’ll join strategy conversations from the start and help bring research to life across client work.

You will design responsive sites, evolve brand systems, defend design decisions to clients, and mentor junior designers while collaborating with writers and strategists on pitches.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in UX/web design (portfolio can override years).
• Portfolio shows a range of styles, not a single look.
• Comfort designing for mobile and responsive web.
• Experience building brand systems, not just using others’ work.
• A second strength beyond web design (illustration, typography, motion, or front-end code).
