CMC Recruiting is seeking a CFP®-licensed Wealth Management Advisor in the Kansas City area. This role leads high-visibility client relationships, delivers sophisticated planning, and partners with internal teams to execute comprehensive financial strategies.

The position offers a strong base and performance-based bonus with significant growth potential within the firm. You will manage relationships with high-income professionals and executives, leveraging referrals and targeted business

Qualifications

CFP license or equivalent required.
Series 7 and 66 license required.
8+ years of experience in a client-facing advisory role.

Responsibilities

Lead advisor for top-tier client relationships, owning strategy, recommendations, and execution.
Deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment advice with tax-aware strategies and estate planning coordination.
Leverage referrals and engage in selective new business development.
Work with high-income clients (typically $250k+ household income) including executives and business owners.
Support complex planning needs such as liquidity events, equity compensation, and concentrated stock positions.
Maintain strong compliance, documentation, and fiduciary standards.
Collaborate with planning and operations teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
Contribute to the firm’s long-term growth, strategy, and succession planning.
