Job summary

BMS CAT is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician in Englewood, CO to deliver high quality water mitigation, extraction, demolition and cleanup services on-site. The role involves setting up drying equipment, containment, and remediation systems while adhering to safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have water mitigation experience, be able to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and participate in an on-call rotation. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• IICRC certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience in water mitigation.
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, tight spaces (crawl spaces, attics).
• Participate in on-call rotation work schedule.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Water extraction
• Perform demolition tasks
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew
