Job summary

HP Hood in New York is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor who leads by example and ensures efficient, accurate warehouse operations. This hands-on role guides shifts, resolves issues, and maintains safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years in a warehouse leadership role, familiarity with SAP ERP, and the ability to coach others while keeping operations compliant with GMP and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of leadership experience in a Warehouse Department or related area.
• ERP(SAP) experience is desirable.
• Experience with just-in-time manufacturing is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for warehouse employees; scheduling, motivation, training, evaluations, attendance monitoring and disciplinary actions.
• Manage inventory, conduct start-up meetings, maintain housekeeping, resolve shipping errors and implement corrective actions.
• Promote safety programs, identify and mitigate risks to drive safe working habits.
• Assist with accident investigations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and GMPs.
