Job summary

TREW LLC is seeking a Supervisor of Software Project Engineering to lead a team in developing Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) software for automated material handling solutions. The role requires strong proficiency in C#/.NET, Java, or C++, along with experience in industrial automation. Responsibilities include supervising engineers, collaborating on project requirements, and ensuring project delivery meets quality standards. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and 7+ years of engineering experience with leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical lead or supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of software engineers on WCS/WES platforms.
• Translate customer requirements into software designs.
• Oversee software development activities across multiple projects.
• Plan and assign engineering tasks, track progress, and manage risks.
• Enforce coding standards and deployment procedures.
• Provide technical leadership in WCS/WES architecture.
• Participate in customer-facing activities such as design reviews and acceptance testing.
• Conduct hiring and performance reviews for direct reports.
