Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Lead Service Center Warehouse Material Handler in Tampa, FL to ensure goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently. You will use a Warehouse Management System, lead a team, and handle pallet jacks, forklifts, and packing duties to support timely shipments.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift loads, and a commitment to safety. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 7:00pm, with compensation starting at $21.00 per

Qualifications

  • Experience with WMS processes and procedures at an advanced level required.
  • Ability to lead others and manage a team in a warehouse setting.
  • Physical requirements include lifting various loads, climbing ladders, and working in varied temperatures.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
  • Minimum 18 years of age; 4+ years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Warehouse Manager by directing the work in an assigned area.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
  • Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process.
  • Select, pack and palletize shipments.
  • Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments and conduct cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse including safety procedures and daily inspections.
