Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Lexington, NC is seeking a Lead Warehouse Clerk for the 1st shift. The role assists the Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager in directing warehouse functions including shipping, receiving and inventory control.

You will provide leadership to clerks and material handlers, act as liaison with other departments, customers and vendors, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and area. Overtime is required.

• Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Lead Warehouse Clerk

Location: Lexington, NC

Shift: 1st

Summary

The Lead Warehouse Clerk – Assembly position is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager in directing and managing the warehouse functions including shipping, receiving products and materials, and inventory control.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities. However, the position does provide leadership and direction to the warehouse clerks and material handlers.
