Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Lead Warehouse Associate to support operations at our Greer, SC location. The role involves coaching junior staff, safely operating forklifts, and managing picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities.

You may work indoors or in the yard, lifting up to 50 pounds, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in warehouse operations, experience with WMS and RF scanners, and a proven ability to train teams while maintaining

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely; certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling processes.
• Proven ability to train, coach, and support associates while promoting safety, productivity, and operational excellence.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, RF scanners, or other computer-based warehouse tools.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy, order quality, and workplace safety.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues, prioritize workload, and support daily warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains junior warehouse associates on proper process and procedure.
• Safely operates a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise.
• Picks, packs, and ships products to customers.
• Receives, counts, and records shipment information into the system.
• May work inside the warehouse or outside in the yard.
• Lifts and carries material up to 50 pounds.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
