Job summary

Carrier Enterprise, a leading HVAC/R distributor, is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate for our Ripley, WV location. You will oversee warehouse duties, ensure accurate picking/packing, and coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably within HVAC or distribution.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to customer service and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all warehouse roles assigned to the warehouse team.
• Order Fulfillment: picking, packing, and shipment processing.
• Inbound processing: receiving, counting, sorting, and labelling inbound shipments.
• Inventory maintenance: cycle counts, replenishment, and consolidation.
• Audit work processes to ensure compliance
• Set up and train new Associates.
• Ensure jobs are done with efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and process shipments.
• Quality control checking freight orders.
• Book and issue paperwork for each shipment.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Audit cleaning duties / schedule.
• Be able to research issues in CSD to find and correct issues

Qualifications And Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the HVAC or similar distribution industry
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal (team-building) skills
• Strong commitment to customer service and maintaining a safe working environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Exceptional multitasking abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency in PC skills and experience with inventory and shipping/receiving systems
• Current Forklift certification
