Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate to supervise daily pick and pack, shipping, receiving and inventory control. This role requires forklift operation, safety awareness and strong teamwork.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with starting pay at $26.00 per hour and potential higher based on experience. You will mentor associates, verify outbound shipments, and ensure a clean, secure, and organized warehouse while delivering

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in a distribution center or warehouse preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Forklift experience is required and safety is essential.
• Ability to lead peers and maintain safety standards.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily pick and pack processes per standard operating procedures.
• Direct warehousing duties including loading, checking, order picking and shipping.
• Supervise outbound shipments and verify against picking documents.
• Assist in training, mentoring and development of associates.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Maintain an organized, clean, secure and safe warehouse.
• Adhere to safety regulations and PPE usage.

Ferguson is currently seeking a versatile individual to fill an immediate need for a Lead Warehouse Associate. If you have familiarity and experience with warehousing, shipping and receiving, coupled with a dedication to phenomenal customer service, this is the position for you!

Hours are Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• This role will be responsible for the crucial job functions described below: Effectively lead associates through the daily pick and pack process according to company standard operating procedures
• Direct and perform a variety of warehousing duties such as loading, checking, order picking, and shipping
• Supervise and verify the accuracy of outbound shipments by checking items and quantities against picking documents
• Assist in training, mentoring and development of associates
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
• Responsible for ensuring warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications

• A background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is helpful
• Have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent education
• Sense of teamwork, ownership, and attention to detail in your work
• 5 years experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred
• Basic computer knowledge preferred; ability to facilitate change within the organization in a positive manner
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly
• Proven understanding of safety regulations and procedures
• General digital literacy for basic data entry
• Forklift Operator experience required

Pay Range

• $26.78
• $42.86
• Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
