Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities in our Ohio operations. The role requires operating reach trucks, pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory integrity, coordinating with teams, and escalating issues as needed. A high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience are required; overtime may be necessary.

• Must be proficient operating reach truck, picker machines, pallet jack, forklift.

Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:30pm-4:30am

Responsibilities:

• Acquires materials, records, and shipment information needed to support receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Inspects products, storage conditions, and order outputs to maintain handling accuracy and shipment readiness.
• Consolidates inventory and operational information to improve transaction accuracy and workflow coordination.
• Adjusts warehouse activities within established guidelines to address routine exceptions and changing priorities.
• Preserves product condition and inventory integrity through proper handling, storage, and movement practices.
• Screens operational issues and process gaps to enable timely escalation and corrective action.

Education:

• Requires completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Work Experience:

• Two (2) plus years of work experience.
• Have a good overall understanding of DC workflow and can work with minimal guidance.
• Must have proficiency to operate reach truck, picker machines, pallet jack, forklift, etc.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to read and understand the English language to compare and read product descriptions, names and shelf labels.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
• Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
• Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
• Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
• Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Maintains appropriate attendance and production standards.
