Collaborate with the Costume Designer, supervise stitchers and dressers, coordinate with stage management, and ensure maintenance, laundry, and quick-changes are executed to professional standards throughout productions.

Qualifikationen

• Must have professional wardrobe or costume supervision experience.
• Strong sewing, alteration, and garment construction skills.
• Thorough knowledge of theatrical wardrobe maintenance, laundry, and garment care.
• Experience developing and managing dresser tracks and complex quick changes.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Oversee execution of the approved costume design.
• Coordinate with the Costume Designer on construction, alterations, fittings, rentals, and preparation.
• Develop and manage costume build and alteration timelines with the production schedule.
• Facilitate fittings and ensure notes and alterations are completed on schedule.
• Supervise Dressers and other costume personnel performing construction and alteration work.
• Identify dressers and establish work schedules well before rehearsals.
• Communicate staffing updates to Production leadership in advance.
• Supervise load-in, dressing-room setup, and load-out.
• Maintain wardrobe run paperwork, including tracks, lists, and laundry schedules.
• Coordinate with Stage Management on performer needs and quick changes.
• Oversee costume laundry, steaming, and repairs.
• Ensure proper care and storage of all wardrobe pieces.
