Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in creative video production, ideally with digital-first and celebrity-driven content.
• Demonstrated ability to develop internet-forward, highly engaging video across platforms and formats.
• Experience directing and collaborating with high-profile talent on set.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative vision and identity for Cosmopolitan and Seventeen video, shaping tone, casting, set design, lighting, graphics, and more.
• Develop and pitch original video franchises and formats across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and on-site.
• Produce and direct video content from concept through distribution, including pre-production and post-production on sets with talent.
• Write loglines, treatments, beat sheets, scripts, and pilots reflecting each brand’s voice.
• Collaborate with editorial, marketing, sales, and production teams to translate brand priorities into video and branded opportunities.
• Guide post-production, ensuring best practices in pacing, graphics, color, and music.
• Manage multiple productions and workflows, including budgeting and freelancer hiring.
• Oversee and mentor producers to foster collaboration and high-quality output.
