Job summary

Save the Children is hiring a Lead Associate, Video Editor, to help vulnerable children worldwide by telling real, emotional stories. You will lead editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling with support from the Senior Creative Director and Associate Creative Director of Multimedia.

This hybrid role is based in Lexington, KY and offers collaboration with global teams, dynamic projects, and opportunities to push creative boundaries while maintaining high production standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition.
• Experience with file compression, codecs, broadcast specs, and optimization.
• Knowledge of editing for different visual styles, motion graphics, branding, color theory, and audio production.
• Experience using images to tell a story or illustrate a concept.
• Strong attention to detail and organized workflow as business needs scale up.
• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing editing, storytelling, and visual communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office and in spoken/written English.

Responsibilities

• Post-Production: Develop dynamic branded materials for various mediums using assets from global colleagues and stakeholders.
• Creative Contributor: Conceptualize and deliver integrated local/global marketing programs with teams.
• Collaborate to solve challenges and push innovative video production and storytelling.
• Stay current on digital/mobile trends and share insights with the marketing team.
