Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to motivate, engage and train a team of veterinary professionals. The role offers a pay band of $27.00 - $43.00 per hour, with advancement through our competency leveling system.

The ideal candidate will mentor staff, lead training initiatives, and excel in communication, time management and organization. This is a dynamic environment with growth opportunities and a strong focus on employee development.

Qualifications

• Mentor lower-level staff by modeling positive work habits and clinical skills.
• Coach team to anticipate and address patient and client needs in stressful situations.
• Develop and manage training schedules for Technician staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
