Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC seeks a Board-Certified Veterinary Dentist (or AVDC residency graduate) to establish and lead a comprehensive Dentistry & Oral Surgery Service at our flagship hospital. You will partner with anesthesia, oncology, surgery, and critical care to deliver advanced dental care and drive clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• AVDC board certification required; board-eligible candidates considered with timeline.
• Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the District of Columbia.
• Demonstrated excellence in advanced oral surgery and dentistry with entrepreneurial drive.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical care for complex dental conditions.
• Perform advanced endodontics, restorative dentistry, periodontal therapy, and maxillofacial surgery.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, oncology, surgery, and critical care teams on complex cases.
• Act as ambassador for veterinary dentistry and mentor interns and clinicians.
