Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited program.
• Active state veterinary license.
• DEA/BNDD eligibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose diseases or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise owners on preventive care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide end-of-life counseling and maintain medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and hospital policies.
