Advanced & Collaborative Medicine

The hospital is equipped to manage a significant proportion of its patients' medical, diagnostic and surgical needs in-house.

When additional expertise is required, doctors can collaborate with board-certified specialists, including support in radiology and cardiology. This creates an excellent environment for veterinarians who enjoy working through more involved cases and want access to additional clinical expertise.

The existing veterinary team also brings interests across areas including diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, radiology and client education, encouraging regular knowledge sharing and collaborative case management.

As Lead Veterinarian, you'll remain a practising clinician while taking on greater responsibility for the medical direction and development of the hospital.

Your leadership responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting effective communication across the hospital
  • Working closely with hospital management
  • Helping develop clinical protocols and best practices
  • Supporting a positive and collaborative hospital culture
  • Contributing to the longer-term clinical direction of the practice

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys helping colleagues develop but does not want to move away from hands-on medicine.

Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you'll continue managing your own varied medical and surgical caseload.

You'll have opportunities to:
  • Manage complex internal medicine cases
  • Perform soft tissue surgical procedures
