Alpine Animal Clinic in Helena, MT, is seeking a Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician to balance hands-on patient care with team leadership. You will mentor staff, support daily operations, and contribute to clinical knowledge expansion in a state-of-the-art AAHA-accredited hospital.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of VT experience and Montana licensure, with leadership experience preferred. Full-time, 4/10 schedule, on-call weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing Montana Licensed Veterinary Technician
• Team or shift lead experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Assist in surgery and dental procedures including prophylaxis and radiography
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate treatment plans with clients
• Delegate daily tasks and coordinate workflow to support patient care
• Provide training, mentorship, and clinical guidance to Veterinary Technicians and Assistants
• Monitor daily operations to uphold safety and standards
• Build strong client relationships and foster a collaborative team culture
