Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) in Florida seeks a Route Lead to supervise 3+ drivers and ensure operations follow policy. You will manage inventories, schedules, and vehicle safety, while coordinating with supervisors to keep staffing and processes aligned with mission needs.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background checks, and completion of the GSA defensive driving course. This is a full-time position based in Jacksonville, FL.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass background checks required for the role.
• Pass the GSA defensive driving course.

Responsibilities

• Leads a group of route drivers and ensures adherence to NEX policies.
• Passes on vending route instructions and sets the pace for tasks.
• Maintains route and truck inventories and ensures accuracy.
• Operates a motor vehicle to transport merchandise to designated locations.
• Completes Daily Trip Reports and performs pre/post trip inspections.
• Maintains vending machines, replenishes stock, and cleans units.
