Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a Vehicle Lead Engineer to guide the engineering and design of wheelchair accessible vehicle conversions from concept through final delivery. You will lead the integration of vehicle subsystems, set development strategy, and mentor engineers to achieve differentiating vehicle products.

The role requires hands-on CAD development, design reviews, and collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Sales and Purchasing to meet cost and quality targets within project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 7+ years automotive experience or Associate degree with 13+ years in automotive design.
• Without a degree: 17 years of Automotive Engineering, Design & Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, Design and Develop new vehicle conversions in CAD (SolidWorks).
• Design Mechanism, Suspensions, Structures and Closures (doors & liftgates).
• Plan design, procurement, assembly and validation to align with project timing.
