Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Principal Scientist (Vector) – MSAT to design, lead and oversee studies supporting vector production, process optimization, aseptic validation, technology transfer, and regulatory submissions.

This senior role requires deep viral-vector knowledge and strong collaboration across QA, Regulatory, and Manufacturing. You will mentor scientists, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with regulatory and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced degree in cell/molecular biology, engineering or related discipline with extensive industry experience.
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and regulatory guidelines for validation.
• Experience with cGMP, regulatory constraints and cross-functional process transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for technology transfer and process optimization across development and manufacturing.
• Develop and execute phase-appropriate studies for product characterization and development of multiple pipeline products.
• Lead lifecycle management for CGT programs and collaborate with QA, Regulatory, Analytical Sciences, Supply Chain and Facilities.
