Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA is seeking a Lead Vascular Technologist to supervise the vascular lab, coordinate staffing, and ensure high-quality non-invasive vascular ultrasound exams. You will mentor technologists and drive process improvements in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires ARDMS RVT, echocardiography credentials, CPR/BLS, and at least 3 years of experience in vascular ultrasound with leadership responsibilities.

Formación

• Program graduate of ultrasound training or equivalent OJT in a vascular lab.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in vascular ultrasound or leadership role.
• Current RVT certification and ARDMS credentials required.

The Lead Vascular Technician performs non-invasive vascular studies utilizing ultrasound techniques. The Lead Vascular Technologist demonstrates extensive knowledge and skills necessary to assess data reflective of patient status and to assist in the interpretation of this information. The Lead Vascular Technologist works effectively with the office to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient focused to provide timely, compassionate, quality patient care. The Lead Technologist is responsible and accountable for competent non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations, as well as orienting, training, and supporting ultrasound technologists in the department. The Lead Technologist is also responsible for effectively communicating with staff to ensure patient quality care and has excellent interpersonal skills.
