Job summary

Buffalo Public Schools is seeking a Varsity Unified Bowling Coach (Coed) for PS 366 Research Lab High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The coach will lead the bowling program, develop players, teach fundamentals and strategies, and ensure a positive, inclusive team culture.

Expect practices, contests, and travel as scheduled by the Athletics Director and Principal. Applicants should have experience coaching bowling and knowledge of NYSPHSAA rules; ability to work with students, staff, and

Qualifications

• Some experience in organized bowling at various levels preferred.
• Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.
• Knowledge of bowling rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Model nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
• Be available for contests and practices; weekdays and some holidays.
• Supervise equipment, uniforms, and supplies; manage inventory.
• Submit schedules, roster, and requests to Athletic Director.
• Establish positive relationships with coaches, athletes, parents, and community.
• Report scores and communicate notices to staff and news media.
