Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in coaching.
• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Previous coaching experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of sport and teaches athletes.
• Organizes and supervises practices and games; prepares team for competitions.
• Models ethical behavior and motivates athletes; presents positive role model.
• Develops team concepts within KS values framework; promotes sportsmanship.
• Assists athletes to reach their full potential; provides enjoyable environment.
• Resolves disciplinary issues; manages medical/academic eligibility and admin tasks.
