Responsibilities

• The varsity coach is responsible for the welfare and conduct of the members of his/her team from the time they report for practice or a game until they leave the school at the end of the activity.
• The varsity coach must exemplify the highest ideals of good sportsmanship and should offer respect and empathy to each athlete as an individual.
• The varsity coach shall show respect and give support to the contest officials and shall not incite players or spectators against the officials or against each other.
