A public school district in Michigan seeks a Varsity Boys Golf Coach responsible for training and developing high school athletes. Qualifications
Must possess high school diploma.
Extensive experience with Golf.
Cap 1 and/or Cap 2 certification (prior to season).
First Aid and CPR certified (prior to season).
Successful past coaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of the MHSAA Golf rules and regulations preferred.
Ability to work within a coordinated Golf curriculum from youth through varsity level.
Strong personal and social skills, with the ability to effectively communicate using a variety of media.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all Varsity Boys Golf practices, games and related activities.
Coordinate in-season and out-of-season training / conditioning opportunities for grades 9-12.
Develop cohesive coaching relationships that work to develop players from grades 9-12.
Teach and instruct all aspects of Golf, while promoting positive character traits in all athletes.
Provide coaching, encouragement, and guidance to all athletes in the program.
