Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma.
• Extensive experience with Golf.
• Cap 1 and/or Cap 2 certification (prior to season).
• First Aid and CPR certified (prior to season).
• Successful past coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the MHSAA Golf rules and regulations preferred.
• Ability to work within a coordinated Golf curriculum from youth through varsity level.
• Strong personal and social skills, with the ability to effectively communicate using a variety of media.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Varsity Boys Golf practices, games and related activities.
• Coordinate in-season and out-of-season training / conditioning opportunities for grades 9-12.
• Develop cohesive coaching relationships that work to develop players from grades 9-12.
• Teach and instruct all aspects of Golf, while promoting positive character traits in all athletes.
• Provide coaching, encouragement, and guidance to all athletes in the program.
