Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport.
• Ability to instruct, motivate and supervise student-athletes.
• Commitment to professional growth through coaching clinics, observations and consultation.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training; maintain sportsmanship and character development.
• Coordinate schedule, staff, and equipment with the athletic director and principal; supervise assistants and middle school coaches where applicable.
• Promote the sport within the school and community and ensure safety and proper conduct during practices and games.
